    I passed by this store and the overwhelming delicious sweet smell took over me and lured me inside.

    No other customers are inside, just a woman behind the counter. There was no welcome greeting, but it's ok. I'm assuming she's busy.

    The shelves are fully filled with beautiful pastries. My first impression was great! Better than the half empty 85C store. There's no signage to describe what they are, however I'm ready to ask.

    I stand around and there's no one to help me. The woman that was behind the counter has vanished. After a few minutes, my anxiety kicked in and I just left.

    Upon checking in on the Yelp app, I found the bakery is rated 2.5 stars. The first few reviews complain about the service and quality of the products.

    I give it 3 stars, meaning "A-Okay" I won't be back.

    This is the worst bakery ever! Sweet bread is not fresh and has zero flavor! Their cakes and sweets are gross. Customer service is always bad!

    I've came here on 3 different occasions, i've dealt with different people each time, and each time reminds me of why I don't come here and drive alll the way to the Fruitvale to Pena's Bakery on Foothill Blvd! Now that's authentic sweet bread at great prices!

    This place has no prices so they can pretty much charge each person however much they want based on appearance. Disgusting!

    I came in to buy 2 muffins, gave her $10 she gave me 6.50 change. So it's $3.50 for 2 little as muffins. Okay whatever, we only got it because we needed change for the bus!!! She gave me $5 bill $1 bill and my quarters. I asked her while the register was still opened to give me the $5 bill in ones as I needed change & I purchased something!!! She slammed reg and walked away while saying sorry no change. And began talking to another customer in the store about something.

    I will never come to this place again. Take your hard earned money to Penas Bakery at 3355 Foothill Blvd, Oakland Ca 94601! Now there, you won't be dissatisfied.

    I come here when I want pan dulce. I think I'm going to branch out and try some other places. Nothing here tastes horrible or anything like that, it's just really pricey is what it is. I purchased about 8 pastries and it cost me $14 and some change. I dont know, maybe it's just me..? I still think I can find the same thing elsewhere and a little easier on the pocketbook. I say give it a shot, just be aware that no prices are displayed and it's just ok pastries.

    Ice cream reminds me of gelato  style taste really good and fresh, they use real fruit for their ice  cream, today I got guava and pistachio on a waffle cone sooo good price is decent as well I'll definitely come back if ever in the area

    Really bad place and rude staff the cakes and the flans are spoiled with mold on it,when you go and tell them the people are really rude I would honestly call food department on them because of how bad it is
